Estral has been extruding in Manerbio, near Brescia, since 1974. We supply profiles for building, industry, solar, vehicles and furniture. Our billets come from our own foundry, Deral. Machining and coating are done in-house, and we can hold your profiles in stock if you want us to.
Our standard alloy has 82% recycled content and costs no extra. Everything is made in Italy, so there is no CBAM.
At ALUMINIUM our management, sales, the German-speaking team and the head of the foundry will be at the stand.

What we offer

What you get from Estral

We cover the whole chain, from the billet to the picked component. That applies to series profiles as much as to special profiles in small quantities.

Recycled standard alloy, no surcharge

ECOAL by DeralAlu+C−

Deral casts our standard billets from aluminium scrap. Recycled content is 82%. This is our standard material and we do not charge extra for it. If you need a lower CO₂ figure, we offer the ECOAL alloy with 89% recycled content.

The figures come from our EPDs (International EPD® System, verified by TÜV Italia, valid until 2029). GWP-GHG, cradle-to-gate, per kg:

  • Profile from standard billet: 3.27 kg CO₂e/kg, EPD S-P-13500
  • Profile from ECOAL: 2.49 kg CO₂e/kg, EPD S-P-13501
  • Standard billet 2.08, ECOAL billet 1.49 kg CO₂e/kg, S-P-13503 and S-P-13504
  • Alu+C− certified, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001

Five presses and our own foundry

We extrude on five presses between 1,350 and 4,400 t, more than 40,000 t of profiles a year in total. The billets come from our foundry Deral, 70,000 t a year. We do not buy billets on the market, so we can keep lead times even when supply is tight.

Machining in-house

On our 5-axis machining centres we cut to length and mitre, drill, mill, tap and punch. You receive finished parts or labelled kits that go straight into your assembly.

Powder coating and anodising

Our coating line handles 12,000 t a year on two booths, bar lengths from 3 to 7.5 m. All RAL colours, matt, fine texture, metallic or two-tone. Anodising is certified to Qualanod.

Stock and picking

If you want, we hold an agreed quantity of your profiles here and deliver on call-off. We pick per order, per site or by kanban. You tie up less capital and we can plan our presses better.

Quality you can check

Every billet and every profile can be traced back to the melt. Checks are documented at each step. Customer audits are welcome and we are happy to show you the plant.
